Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Poppr, the website and app at poppr.app (the "Service"), provided by Digital Solutions Group, LLC ("we", "us"), a company registered in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams), United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Poppr.

1. What Poppr does

Poppr helps brands plan and publish short-form video. It suggests video ideas with shot lists, drafts captions, and posts or schedules videos to the social accounts you connect. Poppr is a business tool: you use it on behalf of a brand or business, and you must be 18 or over.

2. The beta

Poppr is in beta. During the beta it's free, features may change or be withdrawn, and things may occasionally break. We'll email you at least 30 days before the beta ends and before any charge could apply. Paid plans are $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year unless we tell you otherwise first, and we'll never charge you without your explicit agreement.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. You're responsible for what happens in your account and in the workspaces you control. Tell us straight away at hello@poppr.app if you think someone else has access.

4. Connecting TikTok and other platforms

When you connect a TikTok account (or, later, another platform), you authorise us to post and schedule the content you choose, with the settings you choose, and to read the basic account information the platform shares with us. Poppr is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.

Each platform's own terms, community guidelines and branded content rules apply to what you post, and it's your job to follow them. Platforms decide on their own how content is shown, limited or removed, and we're not responsible for those decisions. You can disconnect a platform at any time.

5. Your content

You own the videos, captions and brand material you put into Poppr. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to run the Service for you: for example, to draft captions from it, and to send it to the platforms you post to.

You promise that, for everything you upload or post through Poppr:

you have every right it needs, including permission from the creators and anyone who appears in it, and licences for any music;
paid partnerships, gifted products and advertising are disclosed the way the law and the platform require;
AI-generated or altered content is labelled wherever a platform or the law requires it;
claims about products are true and can be backed up.

6. Ideas, scripts and captions written by AI

Poppr's suggestions are drafted by AI. They can be wrong, repetitive or unsuitable, and they aren't legal, medical or professional advice. Review everything before it's posted: you decide what gets published, and you're responsible for it. Nothing is posted unless you press the button or schedule it.

7. The watch list

When it's available, the watch list follows public content from creators you choose, for inspiration and analysis. Use it to learn what works, not to copy or re-upload other people's videos.

8. What you must not do

Use Poppr for anything illegal, deceptive, hateful or harassing, or to infringe anyone's rights.
Post spam, buy fake engagement, or break a platform's rules through Poppr.
Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or get into accounts that aren't yours.
Resell or sublicense Poppr without our written agreement.

9. Our property

Poppr's software, design and brand belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the Service.

10. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of the Service. We'll give you reasonable notice of changes that matter, and if we ever shut Poppr down we'll give you time to download your content first.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Poppr and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, putting others or the Service at risk; where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any video will reach a particular audience or result.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Solutions Group, LLC won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, or actions taken by third-party platforms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims, damages and costs that arise from the content you publish through Poppr or from your breach of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect, and carrying on with Poppr afterwards means you accept it. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the Emirate of Sharjah will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing here removes any protection or right to bring proceedings in your own country that mandatory consumer law there gives you.
